My Twenty-Third Hitty And Second Ash Hitty

My second Ash Hitty turned out much better than I had anticipated.  I have found that ash is very difficult to carve, especially in the “face” area, so I was very pleased with how this Hitty looks.

This will be my last Hitty carved from other types of wood, other than the log cabin wood, for a while.  I will still be carving log cabin Hittys, but have decided that I want to try making some Hitty friends using other woods.

I’ll be experimenting with new hairstyles, face styles, beards and pets for the next few months as I learn new carving techniques.
