My Nineteenth And First Maple Hitty

I finally decided to try more hardwoods, and this is my first Maple Hitty.   I enjoyed carving Maple, and even though it was difficult to carve, I found the results to be very pleasing.

I love her endearing face and sleepy eyes.  I’m also pleased that she has a more “childlike” face and expression.  She was also sold on eBay and is currently preparing to travel to her new home.
