Meet Hitty Jessie

Hitty Jessie is my 25th Hitty.  She is made from mahagony wood, and named after my mother in law.  Hitty Jessie is special because she was carved completely with a knife, not the dremel. 

I had a lot of fun making her.  I enjoyed using the knife, and discovered that I could carve much tinier detail than I can with a dremel.

Hitty Jessie turned out much better than my first Hitty that I attempted with the knife, Cadaver Hitty.  I am extremely pleased with how she emerged from the wood, and the Merry Happy Hittys are very pleased to have her join their family.
