Hittys New Friends And A Wonderful PIF

Today Hitty Dot is welcoming her new paper doll friends, Chloe, Hitty Marie Curious, Hitty Thankful and Hitty Moon.  They are the children of TC Vollum (TCVdolls.com), who was kind enough to give Hitty Dots mom permission to make paper dolls from her dolls images.

Hitty Dot loves her new friends, and is excited to have these new additions to her family.

Suddenly there’s a knock on the door.  “Come in” cries Hitty Dot.

“Look” cries Hitty Dot, “It’s Flat Andrew delivering today’s mail”! (Flat Andrew was provided by Ms. Kimberly http://www.picturetrail.com/n2hitty of the Hitty Girls group)

Hitty Dot excitedly tears into her mail.

She pulls out a folded card.

“Oh my” exclaims Hitty Dot, “It’s a lovely card from Annie!  How thoughtful that she would think of me.  Hmmm, it says it’s a PIF…but there’s nothing else in the envelope”.

“Oh let me show you what to do” says Hitty Moon as she reaches into the lovely card.

“See, there was something sweetly tucked into the card Hitty Dot” says Hitty Moon.  “You just have to know where to look”!

Hitty Moon pulls out a crochet collar that is finer and more elegant than anything Hitty Dot had ever seen.

“Oh my” exclaims Hitty Dot.  “This collar is so beautiful, it has beads and a sweet tiny button, and the most elegant stiches I have ever seen!  Oh how I hope it fits me!”

Hitty Dot tries on her new collar and sees that it’s a perfect fit!  It looks so beautiful and lovely on her, she knows that she will treasure this gift forever.

Hitty Moon asks Hitty Dot if she can try on the new collar, and Hitty Dot hands it to her.

“Now I do not mind sharing” says Hitty Dot, “but please take very good care of it, and give it back real soon because I want to wear it to town when I go to meet a special, secret person”.

“Doesn’t it look GREAT on me too” says Hitty Moon as she dances around the room.

“Hey, look at me, I have a new hat” says Flat Andrew.  ‘Don’t I look so cool in my new hat?”

“You sure do” all of the Hittys and Hitty friends exclaim at once as they burst into laughter.

“Can I stay here and live with you too Hitty Dot?” asks Flat Andrew.

“Well, the house is getting mighty crowded, but sure, I guess you can stay also” says Hitty Dot.

“Wait a minute” says Hitty Moon “He’s a MALE, if he stays, he should at least build a few more rooms onto the house so we all have room to sleep!”

“Oh, so you expect me to work to earn my keep” says Flat Andrew “Well, I like you all so much, I don’t mind at all, I’ll be more than happy to help you add new rooms to the house, and even help you decorate it!”

“There’s no need for that Flat Andrew” says Chloe, “we will be all comfortable with what we have now, Hitty Moon knows that as soon as the Hitty Mystics see you, they are going to kidnap you anyways.  Mystic has a much bigger house with 7 rooms, and we all share her home too.  Hitty Moon is just trying to get free labor out of you”.

“Well rats, no free labor” says Hitty Moon, “I guess we can put him in the tent in the attic with the clothespin dolls, there’s plenty of room for him there”.

“Thank you girls for letting me stay” says Flat Andrew.  “I really appreciate it, and will be more than happy to keep delivering your mail for you as my thanks!”

“That is so kind of you” says Hitty Dot, “I say welcome to you all, we truly will have a great time together!”
