Hitty #10

This is my tenth Hitty carved this year, she is carved from basswood.  Her little curls are not simply painted on as I do with my other Hittys, I carved the curls for a more realistic look.  I am very pleased with how her hair turned out!

21″ Bru Jne 13

My newest doll is this lovely 21″ Bru doll, found at a local thrift store yesterday.  I am unable to tell if she is a reproduction or an original, she’s in great shape, but some parts of her (her wig especially) look very old. Read more
